Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sharmila Faruqi recently spoke out against actor and TV host Nadia Khan claiming that the latter had mocked Sharmila’s mother, while Nadia denied her claims.
It all started when Nadia Khan posted a video in her latest vlog, where she praised Sharmila’s mother #Anisa Faruqi for her makeup at an event. However, the video didn’t settle well with Sharmila, who reacted to it by calling Nadia a ‘shameless woman’ and saying she’s ‘reported the video to cybercrime wing’.

Next, #Sharmila Faruqi posted to her Insta handle reminding well-wishers that she’ll not resort to petty tactics to bring someone down! 👏🏽 “I respect every individual’s personal struggle and private & professional life and would not stoop to the low levels most people do,” shared the PPP leader.

Following this, the politician officially filed the complaint with FIA cyber crime wing against #NadiaKhan for her unacceptable behavior with her mother.

Responding to the hue and cry, NadiaKhan uploaded a video statement to her YouTube channel as she addressed the controversy regarding #SharmilaFaruqi and her mother. “Why did Sharmila not contact me to resolve the issue? Why did she have to blow up the whole thing in the media?,” questioned the actor.
