“Hang them publicly!”: Iqra Aziz, others call for action after 7-year-old girl raped, slaughtered in Sargodha

In a tragic incident in Sargodha, a 7-year-old girl, identified as Muntaha, was sexually assaulted and later murdered inside a grocery store in Sargodha. The minor girl had left the house to buy something and went missing; the family reported the police, and the search led to the victim’s body. The girl was slaughtered, and her body was thrown on the roof of the shop; the police have arrested two suspects, men who had been working in the grocery shop. An investigation is underway, and the police await the postmortem report to further proceed with the case.

The horrific crime has sent a wave through social media, and netizens call for swift action against the perpetrators. Enraged by the growing number of cases of sexual violence, actor and host Mishi Khan took to Instagram and called for a public hanging of the culprits to set an example. She posted:
