We sure did spend almost the entire of 2020 in quarantine at our homes, clothed in comfy PJ’s and surrounded by comforters. Fortunately enough we saw some really good shows blessing our screens.
Here’s a lowdown of all our favourite shows from 2020:
Churails
This one is a no brainier. Churails really set the bar high with its strong storyline and solid performances. The star-studded cast was a major plus!
Dil Ruba
Dilruba was a delight to watch particularly because of Hania Amir’s character ‘Sanam’. The bubbly heartthrob nature of Sanam makes it hard to not fall in love with Hania.
Sabaat
Sabaat was based on classification that still exists on our society today making it an interesting watch. It also marked Mawra Hocane’s come back to the small screen after 6 years!
Ruswai
Even though Ruswai released its first episode in 2019, it ended in April 2020. The drama serial had the audience hooked particularly because of Sana Javed’s powerful performance!
Prem Gali
2020 has been a very mellow toned year in general. After quarantining for months, the audience craved a show that followed a light-hearted theme with a pinch of comedy and Prem Gali is just that!
