Television host, activist, and crypto entrepreneur Waqar Zaka who has recently been appointed KP government’s cryptocurrency expert got a court clarification that Crypto is not banned in Pakistan.

Zaka posted about the court clarification on his Twitter account in which the court had mentioned that “State Bank of Pakistan has stated in open Court that they had never declared Crypto Currency illegal.”

The ‘Living on the edge’ star has been advocating in support of e-commerce avenues since the past two years and has been succeeded to a large extent, in promoting them in Pakistan. Earlier, Zaka had also taken to Twitter today to offer to counter Pakistan’s growing debt problem with the help of crypto currency. The television host had announced on social media that with the help of crypto currency, he could pay off Pakistan’s debts, under the condition that Imran Khan resigned and he became the prime minister:

“I can pay of PAK deb using crypto but the condition is @ImranKhanPTI should step down and let me run the country..”

Zaka is of the view that whoever is responsible for banning e-commerce avenues and e-sports platforms in Pakistan is actually threatened by the country’s talent to excel in them.

According to Waqar Zaka , “These are the same people who don’t want our children to become famous around the world, who don’t want our country to generate revenue online, who want to send out a message to the e-sports providers around the world to prevent them from setting up their business here – reason why YouTube never did. These people will not allow us to evolve, a digital revolution needs to be brought”.
