Saba Qamar seems to have stolen the limelight for various reasons, be it her head turning style statements in an eccentric power suit or her phoenix like acting in her movies. The actress has been actively in front of the eyes of the media as she promotes her film Kamli.
Sarmad Khoosat’s ‘Kamli’ has received an unparalleled blow of appreciation, Express Tribune remarks the film as the best Pakistani film ever while Dawn Images considers it worthy enough for an Oscar Submission.
Keeping in mind the powerhouses that both Sarmad and Saba are, we are sure that these statements do justice to the movie. However, today we are here to shed light on the glamour and glitz that encapsulated the red carpet of the movie’s premiere owing to Saba Qamar’s Marylin Monroe-esque appearance.
Saba opted to wear Elan– a floor length, well fitted periwinkle gown with golden flower embellishments spread out over the entire ensemble. Saba’s tightly tousled and perfectly placed curls took us back to the 60’s where the hairstyle was associated with the one and only, Marylin Monroe-a symbol of breathtaking yet a little bizarre glamour. The winged eyeliner also paid homage to the very animated style that was synonymous to Marylin herself.
We weren’t ready to see Saba Qamar step on the red carpet like this and we’re sure anybody else wasn’t either. Saba always ensures to bring to the screens and the red carpet a display that is not only glamorous but also remembered. Who would have thought Pantone’s color of the year could be styled this way.
