TV host and salon owner Rabia Anum walked out of Nida Yasir’s live morning show today, where she had been invited as a guest, alongside Mohsin Abbas Haider and Fiza Ali.
Rabia shared her reasons for walking out on live television, saying that she cannot share the platform with a wife-beater, as reported by The Current. She left the show after a few minutes of Nida’s show being live.
Rabia also shared that she had not been aware that she would be sitting alongside Mohsin on the show. Earlier, Rabia had been very vocal in her stance against Mohsin after Mohsin’s former wife Fatima revealed that she had been a victim of domestic abuse during their marriage.
She also cried while exiting the show, elaborating on the fact that if today she compromises her morals, and shares the platform with Mohsin, she will never be able to raise her voice for her daughters or friends when they would be at the receiving end of domestic violence.
Rabia walked out right after the first segment, towards the beginning of the show, but that part has been edited out.
