Veteran celebrity couple Fazila Qazi and Qaisar Nizamani were guests at the Ramzan show ‘Life Green Hai’ where they were asked about the reason behind why more celebrity couples were breaking up. Currently, two of the celebrity divorces that had shocked Pakistani audiences were between Sana Javed and Uzair Jaswal, as well between Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir.
Speaking on these recent happenings, Fazila responded that their marriage had lasted because the two had a lot of trust and patience with one another and kept their relationship going. She also said it was because of how much people had started becoming career-oriented, that marriages were becoming less of a priority.
“Everyone has become career-oriented nowadays, regardless of gender. Because of this couples refuse to sacrifice their needs for one another and which causes fights.”
The ‘Bay Khudi’ actress clarified that she was not applauding herself for choosing to prioritise her marriage over her career, but revealed she had left her career at its peak when she choose to stay at home for 9 years to take care of her children.
