Pak Army records global win with 1st position, major honors at the International Pace Sticking Competition in Sandhurst

The Pakistan Army has outshone internationally, after winning first position in the International Pacemaking Competition in the United Kingdom, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) announced. They have delivered a clean sweep performance at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) and secured the; The Overall Team Trophy, The Best Pace Sticker Award and The Best Driver Award.

The team consisted of a nine-member Pakistani contingent, led by Major Haider Gulzar that arrived in the UK on June 5 to compete in the grueling event. They faced 16 international military teams in a cutthroat competition with the Pakistan Military Academy acing with displaying precision and discipline.

Talking about Pakistan Army’s unity and performance at the competition, Adjutant, Major Haider Gulzar stated:

This victory is reflective of the highest standards of professional training, excellence and dedication maintained by the Armed Forces of Pakistan

The Pace Sticking Competition is held annually at the RMAS that is a highly demanding military exercise that tests soldiers’ synchronization, posture, and precise pacing skills. These exercises are considered fundamental to drill instruction and troop discipline.
