Syed Mohammad Ahmad shared a thank-you note on Instagram after Pakistan’s drama industry extended support for him following his negative experience with a junior colleague. Seeing the overwhelming response, he said he has realised the drama industry is a family and thanked everyone who stood up for him. He added that he has decided to focus on the positive messages over the negative experiences. He posted:

In a candid conversation with Dareecha, he had disclosed a humiliating encounter that took place on set. He shared how a main lead, 40 years younger than him, ridiculed his baldness and made fun of him in front of many colleagues and stated:
While talking about it, he said that he is self-aware and confident about his appearance; however, such ridicule coming from a junior colleague is degrading. He said that the main lead has had a grudge because of the professional criticism he had faced. He added that the younger male actor mentioned the encounter, saying he used a portable fan as a hairdryer while styling his hair. Utterly heartbroken, Mohammad Ahmad stated that he chose not to react, as he needed to work on the project. He also shared that he had reacted previously, which he later regretted after the actor apologised frequently.
Following the statement, the entertainment industry has reacted in support of Mohammad Ahmad and requested that the name be revealed so the actor is dealt with accordingly. Stating that he would deal with the disrespectful junior himself, Faysal Qureshi took to Instagram and posted:

When questioned by a follower if he had disrespected Mohammad Ahmad, Ali Raza clarified that it was not him, as he respects him and has never worked with him. He commented:
