Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum had some amazing elements, but what stood out for the audiences were the female leads of the drama
‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ was an amazing drama for several reasons because it had an important lessons about childhood trauma and parental favouritism, on how couples can strengthen their relationship by being more upfront about their emotions with each other. But most importantly, the drama featured one of the most iconic showdowns of all time: Rubab versus Sharjeena.
Everyone remembers how Rubab and Sharjeena clashed heads with each other because of the former’s elitist attitudes towards her and the rest of the family. In episode 17, a wild confrontation broke lose when Sharjeena called out Rubab for her bullying and belittling attitude, as well as the rest of the family for the way they demeaned Mustafa because he didn’t make the same amount of money the way Adeel did.
Well the drama might have finished long ago, but people are still obsessed with this hilarious scene and keep making reels mimicking both Sharjeena and Rubab.

Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum: why are people still loving Sharjeena and Rubab?
We can see why both Sharjeena and Rubab made a mark on social media this year because they are both such complex and well-written characters. Sharjeena looks like she is a fragile and simple-minded girl because of her conservative background and her obsession with her studies but she stands up to bullying every time when her mother-in-law or Adeel tried to belittle her. The main reason why Mustafa became a better man by the end of the show was because he wanted to meet the standards that Sharjeena had.

While Rubab might look like she’s an elitist bully who belittles everyone around her, and she was responsible for destroying Sharjeena’s happiness by snatching away Adeel. But she was loved by audiences for never letting a man assert his control over her, she knew when it was time to step away from toxic relationships and family members.
