The Green Entertainment drama Iqtidar has been all the rage on social media since these past few months. Starting off strong with this gorgeous ensemble Mehru wore for her nikkah to Shahnawaz Shah in episode 27. It’s a dark red lehnga choli by Mariyam D Rizwan, and the gold jewellery was from Kohar Jewels. Literally all of us could understand why Shahnawaz looked so spellbound the moment Mehru stepped into the room because us too, bro.
2 Mehru’s engagement outfit to Rafay
The second lewk that we’re definitely adding to our wish list is this sleek pastel lehnga choli she wore on her engagement to Rafay in episode 17. Truly takes our breathe away by how stunning she looked even for almost marrying a man who never respected her .
3 Making a fashion statement even when she single handedly put her brother’s murderer in prison
We loved this episode because Mehru shocked her family and her no-nothing fiance by marching on her own to Sanam Shah’s house to put her murderous son Zain behind bars after the death of her brother Zeeshan. And she did it while looking breathtaking in the Sana Safinaz ensemble she wore in the screen. And what’s more hilarious: even Shahnawaz, the all proud and haughty son, stepped up behind her immediately to put Zain in chains and march him to prison when he threatened to murder Mehru. Pure relationship goals, are we right?

We absolutely adored how Mehru proved that she doesn’t need extravagant jewels or adornments to make a statement, but even the most simplest looks can be enhanced with how you style it. She looked stunning in this simple yet elegant black kurta from Erum Jamal that she paired with a classy red lip and a gorgeous blowout. We truly get why Shahnawaz goes into a tizzy every time he sees her coming near him.
