As expected, Shireen (Anaya Shahid) has come forward to expose Sohrab (Raza Ali Abid) as Zanjeerain has served a powerful episode. From adultery to murder, in a haunting sequence, Shireen has come forward to confess her complicity in all the crimes Sohrab has been plotting to take over the tribal leadership. When confronted about her illicit relationship with Sohrab, she exposes the extent of crimes that had been taking place within the walls of the Khan Haveli.

While her relationship, Sherdil’s murder, and the assassination attempt on Sarbuland (Danyal Zafar) had been known to the sardar (tribal leader), Sherbano’s (Sehar Hashmi) murder hit hard. The fact that Sohrab murdered his only sister to protect his plan against Sarbuland has shaken the walls of the Haveli that had been keeping the secret hidden in its courtyard. A jirga (tribal council) is called to decide the fate of Sohrab, who has not only committed adultery but is also responsible for multiple murders.

Where Sohrab’s fate was known to the audience, the highlight of the episode has been Shireen, who, instead of crying over spilled milk, has taken Sohrab down with her. She has opened up to Shahnoor (Anam Husain) about how she had been pushed into intimacy by Sohrab, who had promised her marriage and honor if she complied to kill the tribal leaders. Wooed by a promise, she had poisoned Sherdil, helped bury Sherbano’s body, and informed Zarmurd of Sarbuland’s whereabouts to plan an attack. Where she had nothing to lose, she decided to expose the culprit, as she would not die as an adultress.
