Odho joked that unlike in dramas, women often pick up on the signs that they’re being cheated on by their partners much quickly in real life. The actress said she had good practice after having experienced this herself.

When pushed on by her female co-hosts Nadia Khan and Sadia Imam, Atiqa gave some good tips that we should all definitely note down because ladies, never stay with a man who doesn’t recognise your worth!

Atiqa Odho knows that a man’s changed behaviour towards his wife is the bigger indicator she’s being cheated on

One of the first ways the ‘Humsafar’ actress said a woman can figure out her man’s got a new side chick is when he immediately starts reviving his wardrobe. For instance is he was slouching on the couch a few days ago, why is he suddenly so invested in going to the gym and shopping for better clothes?

Another tip Atiqa Odho mentioned was when the husband becomes more loving towards his wife, because of the guilt he might start feeling.

“When a man starts a secret affair, he starts feeling so over-joyed that suddenly his wife is getting treated better,” quipped the ‘Meri Shehzadi’ actress. “This could be the guilt he feels for cheating. He starts showering you with presents on you.”

Dear Pakistani dramas, please stop assuming that women are completely naive about what in going on in their own house? Like if for once our script writers weren’t obsessed with romanticising toxic relationships or the ‘sati savitri’ trope, we could get a good drama where a woman refuses to stay in an abusive relationship and leaves to build her own life. Because unlike them, in reality women have stronger intuition and are actually aware of what is going on under their own roofs!

“A woman will pick up on the signs quickly. It’s not about finding lipstick on his neck or her smell on his shirt,” remarked Atiqa. “It’s about how he behaves that indicates that there is another woman in his life.”

With this we’d just have to mention that ladies, please remember that it is not okay to stay around in a dying marriage if your husband is cheating around. Get a divorce and leave the unnecessary baggage back where it belongs.
