Mashal Khan also known as ‘Kinza’ gained massive popularity and became a household name after her solid performance in Suno Chanda! She played the role of Kinza Jalal Khan in the sitcom which featured Iqra Aziz and Farhan Saeed in lead roles. The audience fell in love with her character as she won hearts by executing it to the core and successfully captured hearts with her soft personality and sweet aura. She also appears in Suno Chanda’s sequel Suno Chanda 2 and since has successfully made her space in the drama industry. She has further appeared in drama serials Mere Humdam, Khaas and Thora Sa Haq.
Before Mashal Khan joined the drama industry, she went to McGill University in Canada to study math (beauty with brains? Absolutely!). She went to KGS for school -from nursery to A Levels. The actress also revealed that she had never thought of becoming an actress and that Suno Chanda came to her by surprise.
In an interview with a local publication, she narrated. “It happened so randomly. I was hosting the red carpet for PIFF, and a few days later I get a call saying come in for an audition. I thought sure, what do I have to lose? But I wasn’t expecting anything to come out of it. Later, another three days after my audition I get a call to come in and meet Mr Talish and that I had gotten the second lead in Suno Chanda.”
The model-cum-actress is also vegan and tends to eat very clean. Yes, she only consumes healthy veggies which is perhaps, ‘the’ ultimate crack code to her flawless skin and to-die-for physic!
Mashal is engaged to Ali Ansari who is also an actor and has appeared in many drama serials including Saboor Aly’s Naqab Zan. The duo makes frequent appearances together and look very much in love. Sorry boys!
