
Anita Karim, Pakistan’s first female Mixed Martial Arts(MMA) fighter, has won the “Infinite Championship” in Islamabad, Samaa reported. She made history by keeping the title in Pakistan after winning the country’s first-ever professional MMA League. The groundbreaking moment for women in combat sports drew attention from sports fans across the country.
Anita competed in the 52kg women’s bout and delivered a powerful performance, defeating Iran’s Parisa Sham Abadi with a knockout in the first round. Her decisive victory highlighted her growing dominance in the sport.
Hailing from Hunza, Anita is widely recognised as Pakistan’s first professional female MMA fighter.
