In a heartfelt video, Maya Khan has opened up about how divorced women continue to blame themselves for their failed marriages. Taking to Instagram, she urged women to stop blaming themselves and move on, as holding onto guilt does not help. She added that it is hard to accept that someone who is well-read and successful in life can make a wrong decision; however, it is best to accept it and move on. She posted:

Maya added that women tend to blame themselves for a wrong decision, and it continues to haunt them and live in their shadow. She said that it is important that, instead of blaming themselves, women understand what that unfortunate chapter in life has taught them. She added that divorced women should hold onto the lessons that unfortunate phase of life taught them and live fully.

Maya is a divorced woman herself and stated that she has now let go of her guilt and cannot blame herself for one faulty decision in life. She has learned to let go, learned from her mistakes, and chosen to prioritize herself and her well-being in the future. In her overwhelmingly emotional plea, she asks all divorced women to do the same as her.
