Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz have been talk of the town ever since they both were spotted hanging out together at various events and get-togethers. Fans were anxiously waiting to know whether the couple was actually dating or are they ‘just friends’. Yasir Hussain then posted a picture on his instagram with Iqra Aziz on the 14th of February better known as Valentine’s Day with a caption of Ghalib’s poetry that read:

This was a major hint for the fans that the couple is dating and is officially into a relationship. With posting pictures which showed some amazing bond of love and chemistry to making official appearances together be it on events or walking the ramp , whenever the couple was asked they neither denied nor accepted their relationship which always left fans in ambiguity.
Later The couple went on a vacation together to Thailand from where the two shared beautiful pictures and some funny videos that went viral. The two looked absolutely spot-on in each and every click that they shared on their instagram. It is from there that they both got tangled in a controversy that whether the trip was a honeymoon or just a vacation. Iqra Aziz at that time was riding high on the success of her drama serial ‘Suno Chanda’ and ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ was not seen paying much attention to any of the hate comments that were being circulated on the internet.

Further on right after their vacation Yasir Hussain posted some Question and Answer session with fans on his instagram stories. A fan asked about his engagement to which he replied ‘Ho bhi Chuki’ and when the actor was asked at a show on Ary News by famous host Waseem Badami the actor denied all engagement rumors with Iqra and said they are just friends.
With this confusion going on, Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz both were all dressed up twinning in beautifully embellished outfits by Ali Xeeshan for the Lux Style Awards, where Iqra wore a beautiful attire all hand painted by the designer with a big red heart on her trail shared by two swans and that particular red heart was seen on Yasir’s tuxedos’ patch pocket. Later on at the event Yasir came on the stage and proposed Iqra which apparently left her in awe and she said yes to him. A video of the duo embracing each other after the proposal still has been making rounds on the internet as the act was way too much intimate for our society whereas a huge number of their fans and friends from the industry sent good wished to the couple.

To all the criticism that was going on regarding the intimate video, Iqra Aziz took on instagram to shut the entire backlash aside saying that it is all very precious to her and she is proud of her fiancé Yasir, that he proposed her in public which takes a lot of guts to do so.

This week, Iqra Aziz’s sister shared a picture of the couple with a heartfelt caption which made everyone believe that the couple has been officially engaged with their families being involved.
