The internet’s boyfriend Ahad Raza Mir is finally back in Pakistani dramas

‘Meem Se Mohabbat’ began airing on television channels across Pakistan last week and social media users are overjoyed that finally, the internet’s boyfriend Ahad Raza Mir is back with a bang.

Ahad Raza Mir received critical acclaim for his comedy drama Hum Tum back in 2022, where he starred opposite Ramsha Khan. Then fans kept hoping for another drama as Mir went on to star in the web series ‘Dhoop Ki Deewar’ (2021) and later on the British drama ‘World On Fire’ and ‘Resident Evil’.

In ‘Meem Se Mohabbat’, Ahad plays the succesful businessman Talha, who is also a single father to his son Mohid. From the first episode, we see how Talha is incredibly devoted to taking care of Mohid, while also worried that his son’s mental disability will go away or not.

Social media users were sharing their favorite clips on Twitter, lauding the drama for bringing a wholesome depiction of single fathers to the mainstream cinema for the first time.

“Never knew I needed his single dad era”, commented one user.

Users were especially in love with the scene where Talha sees his son undergo a breakdown because he misses his mother, and how the dad drops everything to console him.

“give ahad raza mir a couple of seconds & he’ll have you tearing up, such is his caliber. the way talha instantly embraced mohid upon seeing his distress. also, the child actor is SO talented. his expressions, voice modulation, body language — amazing.”

Ahad Raza Mir and Dananeer star as enemies to lovers in ‘Meem Se Mohabbat’

The drama revolves around the love story between two people with completely opposite personalities. Dananeer Mobeen plays Roshi, who is extroverted and completely the opposite of Talha. She hates studying and rebels against her parents decision to study engineering to follow their ambition just like her elder sister Mahi.

After failing her college entrance exam for the seventh time, Roshi is told by her parents that she has to retake the engineering college test again until she is accepted. So she plots with her phupoo on concocting a plan to get married and escaping her parents oppressive control.

‘Meem Se Mohabbat airs every Thursday at 8 pm on Hum tv.
