Music label T-Series has removed a song by Atif Aslam from their YouTube channel after an outcry from a political party. On Saturday, T-Series released a song “Kinsa Sona” from last year’s thriller movie Marjavaan. However, this news didn’t rest well with some and it had to be taken down.
Their statement says:
“It has been brought to our notice that the said song has been sung by Atif Aslam and this song was put up on the YouTube channel of T-Series by one of our employees from the promotion team. He was unaware of his action and erred while putting up the song,” they shared.
However, twitter is outpouring with love for the singer and is chanting to get the songs back.#IndialovesAtifAslam is also trending on twitter. Most have the view that music has no boundaries and a singer should not have to face political harassment. Scroll down to see the tweets!
