Yesterday, social media went up in flames after leaked videos began trending on the internet which featured the Pakistani screenwriter Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar in an intimate relationship with another woman. Amidst all the backlash, actress Sabeena Farooq has stepped in to remind users that their anger with the screenwriter shouldn’t extend to targeting his family, especially his daughter.
The ‘Kabli Pulao’ famed actress took to her Instagram stories to call out those who were bullying the disgraced screenwriter’s daughter, slamming them for blaming the child for the actions of her father.
“We ask this almost everyday to ourselves and everyone. Is there no humanity left? What does KRQ’s daughter got to do with his actions? Why bully her? It can have an impact on her for life. Why do take so much pleasure in watching other people’s misery?”
The actress ended the note by pleading with users to stop blaming children for the actions of their parents and vice versa as well.
