His desire to marry Rabbiya is genuine; however, it is overshadowed by the lingering fear of Torsam’s action. However convenient, Rabbiya still puts her foot down, as saying yes to a stranger does not sit well with her.
Rabbiya has agreed to marry Mudassir, yet a series of questions is asked to understand his intent and to put forward her requirements. Rabbiya wishes that her brother and uncle would also move with her to Islamabad to protect them from Torsam, yet she is not given a chance to tell Mudassir the whole story. The man left astray refers to a much larger event that might occur in future episodes.
Rabbiya delivers a wide range of emotions during the marriage proposal scenes: fear, awkwardness, and a little ray of hope.
