The Wizard Liz (who goes by the same name on her public platforms) is a Youtuber content creator who makes videos about women empowerment and recovering from traumatic pasts. Her focus is on teaching women about building up confidence, asserting boundaries, identifying red flags in men and becoming financially independent so that they never have to rely on anyone anymore.
Liz had married a Youtuber and tech startup CEO Landon Nickerson, and the two went public their their engagement back in September 2024.

But on May 28, Wizard Liz took to her Instagram stories to reveal that the marriage had fallen apart because she discovered that Landon was texting another woman secretly, whom he told that their relationship was ‘fake’, while Liz was four months pregnant with their child.
“I will never create a fake narrative for social media,” wrote Liz. “I will not preach something and not take the advice for myself.
Landon decided to make a Snapchat account and reach out to a girl to meet up. Made a whole book about how much he loves me. Anyways the girl reached out to me, to my friend today and showed us evidence. He called the relationship ‘fake’ meanwhile my cats are with him in Dallas, all my stuff is there in our apartment and oh, I’m four months pregnant.”
In her next post, Liz thanked the woman who exposed her ex-husband, and also revealed she was selling her engagement ring and giving the money to single moms.
“I’m going to sell my engagement ring (around a 100k) and donate the money to single moms. More power to women.”
Landon had posted a reel on his Instagram stories addressing the cheating by expressing his regret over the betrayal.

Since Liz’s shocking announcement, hashtags like #thewizardliz and #landonnickerson began spreading all over social media, and women expressed their grief over the betrayal while also hailing Liz for refusing to betray her morals and leaving someone who cheated on her.
