Supermodel and television star Gigi Hadid sat down with Vogue Magazine to open up about her relationship with the Pakistani-British music artist Zayn Malik.

The duo had begun dating in 2015, and had broken up multiple times in the course of their six year long relationship. In April 2020, Hadid announced that she was expecting a child with him, and both had decided to name the baby girl Khai.

Hadid and Malik ended their relationship after back in October 2021 the ‘Pillowtalk’ singer pleaded no contest to four counts of harassment filed against him by Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid after the two got into a fight in their Pennsylvania home.

Now speaking to the publication, Gigi Hadid said the two remain on best terms and have entered a phase in their partnership with “love and a feeling of camarderie”, and also accepted the fact that their relationship will remain under scrutiny by the media.

“There is the hard part of the world knowing this much, and thinking they know everything,” the ‘Never Have I Ever’ star responded. “And at the end of the day, we’re not interested in giving everyone our whole story. What we are interested in is raising our daughter together, with so much respect for each other, and not just as co-parents, but what we’ve been through together.”

Gigi Hadid also revealed that she and Zayn plan their custody arrangements with Khai months ahead of time, “That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.”

The Vogue model also opened up about her new relationship with Bradley Cooper, whom she began dating back in October 2023, and Hadid revealed the two had met at a child’s birthday party.

Gigi Hadid revealed to Vogue that the two were trying to prioritise their privacy while also being two famous celebrities. “You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating and even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people? And then there’s another added layer of privacy and security. You want to believe that people are going to have your back and not call TMZ or go on Deuxmoi or whatever, but you just don’t know.”
