Twitter congratulates Arshad Nadeem as he qualifies for the Javelin Throw final at the Olympics

He went through to the final of the men’s javelin with a throw of 85.16 metres.

Arshad Nadeem has the whole nation behind him as he qualifies for the Javelin Throw final at the Tokyo Olympics.

This makes him the first Pakistani to qualify for the final of any track and field event at the Olympics. Arshad Nadeem’s throw was third-best of the day behind India’s Neeraj Chopra (86.65m) and world leader Germany’s Johannes Vetter (85.64m).

Nadeem was seen thanking the Pakistanis for their prayers as well as his coach who prepared him for this feat. He also urged the fans back at home to continue praying for him so that he can achieve big in the finals.

Bazid Khan also shared a tweet saying “Remember the name #ArshadNadeem


Usman Buzdar said “#ArshadNadeem has made us all proud with his performance at the #JavelinThrow competition. The whole nation is praying for his success in Olympic finals. Athletes like him are true role models for our youth who will boost their interest in sports.”


We’re rooting for him but are already so proud of him and all the players who made it to the Olympics with limited resources.
