Pakistanis and cricket is a love story we are all pretty aware with. After the ace performance by the boys in green in this year’s T-twenty world cup, all eyes are on the upcoming PSL 7. The tournament will reportedly kick off in the last week of January and the players draft is expected to take place in December.

According to reports, all-rounder Shahid Afridi will be joining Quetta Gladiators in this edition which will also be his last edition. The former Pakistani captain has represented Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans in the past.

He has previously expressed his desire to work for the franchise in an interview: “If the franchise releases me, I will prefer to represent the Quetta Gladiators in my last season.”

Twitter is elated with the news and is already celebrating!

However, the COO of Multan Sultans tweeted that nothing is confirmed yet.

Quetta Gladiators has previously been under the captaincy of Sarfraz Ahmed and according to reports he will continue to lead the franchise.
Cricket fans can’t wait for the PSL season to arrive and enjoy the nail biting moments again. We can’t wait either!
