Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay was one of the most anticipated dramas of the year as it brought forward an ensemble cast along with Mahira Khan coming back to the screens after a 5 year hiatus. The drama is directed by Farooq Rind and produced by Nina Kashif under Momina Duraid Productions.
The drama deals with various themes with childhood trauma being one of them. “Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay” has been praised for highlighting this issue . The two female characters became rivals because of how much they were pitted against each other by the adults during their childhood. Mehreen (Mahira Khan) and Mashal (Kubra Khan) were revealed to be childhood friends but as they grow up, they soon become each others worst enemies. Like most Pakistani dramas it also comes with a love triangle, however Mashal played by Kubra Khan met her end in the last episode leading to Mehreen landing in jail.
