In Ghotki district, Sindh, female doctor tortured man after he refused to marry her
A horrifying story has emerged from the city of Mirpur Mathelo in Ghotki district where a female doctor in her 50’s physically tortured a man after he refused to marry her.
According to ARY, the female doctor had cut out the man’s tongue and mauled out his eyes during their physical altercation. The video of the violent incident has gone viral on social media, and has prompted a quick response from the police.
SSP Ghotki Dr Samiullah Soomro said a case has been registered against the perpetrator.
However, the woman doctor has also filed a complaint against the young man by accusing him of harassment and blackmail. She alleged that the two had been longtime friends, and she had proposed marriage to him that he had refused. After this, the man began threatening to upload her videos and pictures on to social media.
According to Dr Soomro, a detailed investigation would be carried out after listening to both complaints and the evidences provided to them.
There have been several violent cases reported across Sindh last year. In December, a shocking case took social media by storm when a newly mother murdered her twins after they were screaming too much. According to Geo, the mother was suffering from mental health issues since the birth of her children, and she murdered them after they were screaming and shouting too much.
The father of the twins had reportedly refused to file a case against his wife, and the police said they would file a complaint on behalf of the government so that the case would be investigated and the murderer could receive a thorough medical examination.
