Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah won a million hearts as he got very emotional at his press conference begging people to follow the lockdown seriously!
“We can bring the economy back to life, not people”.
At this time when the whole world is under a lockdown and fighting with this pandemic, developed countries some how are able to manage the lockdown but countries like us are facing some serious crisis as majority of our population is deprived of the basic necessities.
The lockdown was imposed in March and was decided to go up till the 15th of April. As the number of cases are rising day by day the government decided to take the lockdown upto 30th of April on which the government did not receive a good feedback.
Prime Minister Imran Khan allowed merchants, barbers, tailors and people linked to real estate to open up their business as many were not able to pay their workers.
CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah, who recently lost his brother-in-law Mehdi Shah who was affected by the virus completely disagreed from opening any sort of business and he begged live on the screen saying that “we can bring the economy back to life, not people”. He further added that if we will make any relaxation in the lockdown it will have terrible effects on our nation. He requested everyone to support him and show patience as we do not afford to see a huge number of dead bodies everyday.
The way he begged everyone on the screen, he won a million hearts and finally alot understood the importance of this lockdown.
