The star speedster, who is currently leading the Lahore Qalandars franchise in Pakistan Super League 2023, broke the bat of cricketer Mohammad Haris with his smashing batting delivery during the match against Peshawar Zalmi at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Sunday. Just as Haris was preparing to face Shaheen’s fiery pace, the left-arm seamer dismissed him clean bowled on the very next delivery.
Lahore Qalandars Shaheen Afridi broke the bat on the very first delivery and then took five wickets, beating Peshawar Zalmi by 40 runs. The video has got viral in no time, as Afridi’s fan following took to social media to praise the skipper.
