Salma Hassan appeared on the celebrity talk show ‘Hasna Mana Hai’ where she spoke about the reaction society had when she worked in a drama along side her ex-husband. The actress hilariously recalled reading comments where users were telling her this was against Shariah.
“I couldn’t understand this because it’s only acting,” said the actress. “What difference does it make? And when you get divorced you have to visit court together for visitation rights and also sit in a room together. So why can’t you work together?”
Salma also said she would have cordial relations with her ex-husband because they are co-parenting their daughter together, whom she hopes to have a strong relationship with her father.
