Pakistani volley ball player Azra Farooq is making her mark on the global map of sports as she received the prestigious ‘Most Valuable Player’ title at the Kings Cup volleyball match held in Maldives.
Farooq secured six trophies at the tournament, which included four ‘Best Player of the Match’ trophies after her team won all four matches, as well as ‘Most Valuable Player Award’ and ‘Top 6 player’ trophies respectfully.
Along with this, Farooq also made history when she, along with fellow volleyball player Muqaddas Bukhari were the first ever female sports figures to be signed by a foreign club Al Fawz Sports of Maldives for the MZC ladies cup.
