Feroze Khan has once more landed in hot waters when he was criticised by a female journalist for coming 2 hours late to a meet-and greet.
A video going around showed that the event was about the actor’s upcoming match against social media influencer Rahim Pardesi.
The Nawai Waqt journalist Ambreen Fatima recorded a video where she called out Feroze during the press conference for the unprofessionalism he displayed by coming late.
“When we were invited to this event, we were told that we need to reach at the location at 3 pm sharp,” Ambreen was seen speaking to Feroze. “We told that if possible we must arrive there before three. Most of mainstream media who were waiting for Mr Feroze has now left, and Feroze arrived here two hours late. Who makes these people into stars? It’s the media.”
Feroze responded to the journalist by saying that he was late because there was no hot water in his hotel.
We have to say that we are appalled by the treatment the journalist was receiving in this video, with the way the actor dismissed her questions, and especially with the way his fans are ruthlessly trolling her in the comment section.
Asking someone to respect event timings and professionalism is not a crime and every actor or influential person must remember that journalists are also human beings who deserve the same respect they are giving you. If you are late to an event for any reason, the right thing to do is to apologise rather than rebuttle the person who has asked a genuine question.
And we have to give our kudos to the female journalist for refusing to let the unprofessional behaviour slide, and calling it out at the spot despite the unsafe environment she was in. It takes incredible guts to stand up to disrespect and we’re so proud of her for pointing it out correctly that stars owe it to their fans and to the media that they show up on events on time, and respect the love and dedication they are receiving from them.
