Its the day of the final! Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi will face each other in the latest edition of Pakistan Super League at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium today. Multan Sultans are first timers in the final, whereas Peshawar Zalmi have played three finals previously from 2017 to 2019. Peshawar previously took the trophy in the second edition of PSL.

Sultans and Zalmi defeated Islamabad United to secure their spot in the final.
Sultans led by Muhammad Rizwan had a fortunate turn of events in the Abu Dhabi leg where they secured 5 victories out of 6 games.
Wahab Riaz-led side lost three out of their five Abu Dhabi-leg matches, yet succeeded in maintaining a decent net run-rate. Zalmi later knocked defending champions Karachi Kings in a nail biting encounter.
However a big blow has come Zalmi’s way as Umaid Asif and Haider Ali have been suspended for breaking Covid rules. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the two met people from outside their designated bio-secure bubble and failed to maintain social distancing.

Twitter is all geared up to see the clash, scroll down to see.
