Minal Khan talks about her character in upcoming short film ‘pyaas’
Minal khan has been in the spot light for her amazing acting skills in drama serial jalan and her on going drama Nand on Ary Digital these days.
She recently took on her instagram and announced her upcoming short film with Yasir Hussain. The short film “pyaas” is directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain and is produced by Faria Wajahat. Syed Wajahat Hussain is famous for his drama serial Do Bol starring Hira Mani and Affan Waheed.
Minal opened up about her character by sharing some details and pictures from the sets. She said that the short film will highlight the life of underprivileged women of Kohala Paien, Haripur and their hardships. The film will also highlight the water crisis in our country.
She further stated, “Shameem is a window for me to look into the life of underprivileged women of Kohala Paien, Haripur who walk through many miles to fetch water for their daily use.” “Portraying a girl who goes through all this was really a lifetime experience for me.”
Minal considers it a very challenging role and feels blessed to be a given a chance of playing this character. According to sources the film will release next month and will also feature Nazar Hussain, Tipu Shah and Madiha Rizvi.
