
Javeria Saud and her Piyara Ramzan transmission have come under fire after a tone-deaf comment about a caller’s skin condition went viral. Javeria took a live call in which the caller asked for a solution to his skin condition. He stated that he is unable to find a good match because of his itching condition, as he tends to itch himself in every rishta meeting. With an uncontrollable laugh, Javeria said that the caller must take a bath in the Mangho Peer shrine.
Viewers were quick to criticise Javeria for her uncontrollable laughter and the insensitive comment towards the concerned caller. Stating that Javeria should not be allowed to host such shows, a user commented:

Her comment led to further criticism, as Mangho Peer is a shrine with a pond that is home to around 100 crocodiles. The crocodiles are considered sacred by the devotees and are said to have inhabited the pond for over 800 years. Where local lore suggests that the crocodiles were originally lice given to the Sufi Saint, Pir Sakhi Sultan (also known as Kamaluddin) by Baba Farid, who threw them into the pond, where they transformed into crocodiles. However, scientists say that the crocodiles may have been washed there by an ancient flood
