Green Entertainment’s highly anticipated drama series, “Jindo,” directed by the talented Anjum Shahzad, has finally made its debut with an enthralling first episode. Furthermore, Faraz Ali plays a gullible and helpless man named Faqeera who, while Naeema Butt portrays the role of Shano.

Qurban Ali Rao deserves praise as well for his outstanding writing. The dialogue achieves a careful mix between praising women’s grit and determination while also highlighting the harsh realities they endure. The lines are powerful, striking a chord with the viewers, and bringing home the series’ central theme.

The first episode’s notion is clear in every frame, thanks to director Anjum Shahzad.  It is impressive how much attention to detail and skill was put into developing a visual language that accentuates the characters’ emotions. The cinematography captures both the natural beauty and roughness of the surroundings, giving the story’s developing drama a suitable backdrop.
