In April this year, PM Imran Khan’s comments on rape led to social media outrage. In his interactive phone call session with the public, when asked what the federal government was doing to curb the the surge of rape case, he responded by blaming it on the rise of vulgarity.
The premier’s remarks on rape led to a social media roar with many people busting the myths related to rape.
Jemima Goldsmith, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s former wife also took to Twitter to explain the cause of rape. She said “I remember years ago being in Saudi Arabia and an elderly woman in an abaya & niqab was lamenting the fact that when she went out she was followed & harassed by young men. The only way to get rid of them was to take her face covering OFF. The problem is not how women dress!”

With Prime Minister Imran Khan’s latest interview with Axios on HBO with Jonathan Swan the Prime Minister made a similar remark to one he made before saying “if a woman is wearing very few clothes, it will have an impact on men, unless they are robots.”
This has caused an outrage again with many celebrities schooling the Prime Minister on his insensitive remarks. Jemima also retweeted her previous tweet with “And again. sigh”
