Coca-cola has been trending on Twitter on no.1 since the incident happened. Ronaldo’s gesture of removing the water bottles has gone viral on social media.
Coca-Cola replied on Tuesday with a statement saying, “everyone is entitled to their drink preferences” with different “tastes and needs”.
The soccer star has previously voiced his concerns over fizzy drinks as well. According to him, abstaining from soft drinks enables him to remain fit at the age of 36. He has not even allowed his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr to not consume soft drinks.
