Hania Amir has distanced herself from anyone associated with harassment accusations after a trail of harassment accusations surfaced online. As a close associate of the producer in question, Hania clarified her stance on crimes against women in a statement. Posting on her Instagram story, she stated that she has no tolerance for harassment and misconduct. She added that she had been unaware of such actions and had no involvement in them. She also said that any association assumed with the producer should not be taken as an endorsement of his actions. She posted:
The trail began with influencer Mahnoor Rahim, who posted on Instagram, stating that a famous producer sent her messages past midnight, saying he wants to “chit-chat” in December 2023. She added that the producer was married at the time, yet continued to text her, and upon confrontation, denied his marriage. She hinted at his links to celebrities, bringing Hania Amir into the mix.

Soon enough, Mahnoor came back with another video, naming the producer and stating that many women messaged her with proof that he had been harassing them online. She also added that many women among those were minors at the time of the incident. Taking a jab at Hania Amir, she said that how can Hania ensure safe spaces as the UN Women’s National Goodwill Ambassador, being friends with a harasser.
