The enormous explosion that hit Beirut on Tuesday has taken away at least 137 people and injured over 4000 with many missing. The blast in the Lebanese capital has led to the swiping away of landmarks with people losing their shelters and homes. The blast sent a mushroom in the sky making citizens worried about their loved ones. In a country that is already crippling due to economic threats this comes as an astounding shocker.
This has also posed a great threat to the authorities who are having trouble to deal with the aftermath. As the search for survivors continues people from around the globe are coming forward to donate and help.
As people unite to support and donate, we have compiled organizations that are operating to help.
The Lebanese Red Cross is the main provider of ambulance services in Lebanon and is struggling to help those suffering from the blast.
The World Food Program is also aiming to support the country already struck by an economic crisis. With the port affected by the blast, prices are super likely to skyrocket!
