The heart throb Hamza Ali Abbasi’s wedding was as simple and intimate as he mentioned in his message on social media where he confirmed the news. There was just a short clip shared by his wife, Naimal Khawar of her mayun ceremony which was very simple and just among her close family and friends. The bride was seen glowing in a no-makeup look wearing a beautiful all yellow attire enjoying ‘haldi rasam’ with her sisters and friends.

The nikkah ceremony was a romantic day time event in a restaurant up on the hills in Islamabad with a stunning floral décor in hues of white blended well with hanging tea light glass globes lighting up the event making it look no less than a fairytale.

Naimal re-used her mother’s wedding dress and Maheen Shah kept the vintage touch by keeping her mother’s lehnga and dupatta as it is. They paired it with a gold kamdaani kameez which had intricate gotta and silma work on the front and back and some hand crafted tassels. Maheen added a kamdaani dupatta with signature lace, lappa and tamba kiran. Naimal kept her makeup look very subtle with a light liner that just gave a definition to the eyes with some light falsies. The face was nice and dewy with flushed cheeks paired with a perfect rosy pout. The jewellery again was very traditional and we loved her ‘nauratan’ jhoomar with a sleek low bun. Naimal was glowing with happiness and that could be easily seen on her face with people crushing over her overall look for the nikkah ceremony.

The Walima ceremony which was hosted in Marriot, Islamabad( again with a very light, elegant floral decor) was attended by family, friends, celebrities and politicians. DG ISPR, Asif Ghafoor, Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Atif Aslam, Gohar Rasheed, Uzair Jaswal, Vasay Chaudhry and Ammara Hikmat were all present at the walima ceremony.
