Mitti De Baway puts Baala’s (Iqbal-Wahaj Ali) caste and history exposed and Zareena (Amar Khan) now sings, but not out of joy but sings directly in front of him using the very thing he despises to taunt him and force a reaction. What once represented his attempt to keep up a hoax of purity has turned into a weapon of mockery in her hands.

The realization that she was never Baala’s first choice, nor was she the woman who held his heart. For years, a cold, heavy distance lingered between them, carefully built by Baala’s harsh and rigid personality. Zareena was forbidden from singing, a simple joy stripped away from her life. To her, it seemed like just another rule enforced by a strict husband but the truth was far more bitter; he was haunted by his past as a Miraasi (generational musician) carrying the deep humiliation of being demeaned for his caste by Billo (Mahira Khan), the woman he had actually loved. The ban on music wasn’t about principle; it was about hiding the shame and heartbreak another woman had inflicted on him.

Behind these bitter taunts, however, stands a profoundly broken woman who understands that she was never given a fair chance at love. Her youth, her happiness, and her simple desires were stolen from her because her husband was trapped in the shadow of Billo’s memory. Her anger runs deep as sees that Baala’s quest for revenge and his unresolved past have brought their entire household to ruins, leaving them to live in fear and emotional darkness. Unable to express the full weight of her grief, all her resentment, heartbreak, and rage pour out of her in the form of forbidden song.

Their marriage has now been reduced to a cold, transactional arrangement. She asks him for money to cover daily needs, keeping their connection purely practical, but the emotional wound remains unhealed. She hurts deeply knowing she was never truly in his heart. Worse still, the space she was supposed to occupy as his wife was permanently shared with a woman who brought Baala nothing but humiliation.

Zareena’s decision to stay by his side was taken out of love, resulting in painful endurance. She continues to live with him, but her hatred for Billo and her resentment toward Baala’s past remain the central friction of their lives. Every note she sings is a reminder that she knows his secret vulnerability, transforming her silence into a persistent, sorrowful revolt against a life robbed of affection.
