With most of the plots coming to an end in Zanjeerain, Sohrab (Raza Ali Abid) has met his fate as he commits suicide as the latest episode opens. While he hullicates about his sister, Sherbano (Sehar Hashmi), whom he killed, he decides to exit the world sinfully. In his vision, his sister confronts him for killing her; she envisions how he had become a monster and was responsible for the shambles the family is in now. While he lacks empathy for Sherdil’s (Ahsan Khan) murder and assassination attempt on Sarbuland (Danyal Zafar), the fact that he murdered his own sister becomes an unbearable weight on his existence.
While the sin of murdering his sister hovers over him, his decision is also boosted by his ego, as he chose a sin over being shot by his cousin brother, Sarbuland, as announced by the jirga (tribal council). Sarbuland, yet again, picks up another dead body of a loved one, while Rabbiya (Sajal Aly) continues to become the ultimate caregiver for the grieving family. From caring for her husband and Bibi Jaan (Sammiya Mumtaz), she also remains present for Shahnoor (Bhabi Noor-Anam Hussain) as she grieves the unfortunate death of her husband.
While the plot actively moves towards an end with Torsam’s (Usman Javed) return to the Khan Haveli, the standout of the episode remains Sohrab’s death and Raza Ali Abid’s remarkable enactment of a broken man, hanging between guilt and ego. Zanjeerain viewers have taken to social media to debate Sohrab’s death and praise Raza for his performance. Stating that the death sequence of Sohrab has created an impact, an X user posted:
