With Faraz(Nameer Khan) taking a bullet aimed at Pakeezah(Sehar Khan), Aik Aur Pakeezah has struck again with a powerful episode. Akbar(Umar Dar) wanting his sister dead and shooting as she stares right into his eyes, takes the drama serial up a notch. With lamented eyes, her pain grows deeper as the idea of a happy life with Faraz slowly fades away.

Her inability to recognise the attacker despite seeing them clearly cements the fact that it was her brother, Akbar, who pulled the trigger on Pakeezah, with Faraz walking right in. Further, Akbar’s disorientation towards the incident and his confessing how his sister no longer trusts him adds to the fact that it was surely he who wished Pakeezah dead rather than seek justice.

With the haunting scenes in Aik Aur Pakeezah, the makers yet again lay out the difficulties a woman faces as she walks on the path to seek justice. The perpetrator on the loose, her own brother, chose to shoot her than become her support as she walks the treacherous path. As she slowly looks towards a bright future with her husband, a family member is ready to dim it down. Stuck between saving her brother and delivering justice for Faraz, Pakeezah faces another challenge. Stating that it’s a blur, she does not name the shooter, yet she is unable to face Faraz as he recovers in the hospital.

The bone-chilling sequences thicken as she does not wish her brother to follow her home, knowing he might strike again. This leaves Akbar in shock, too, with guilt all over him; he understands why Pakeezah no longer trusts him. He comes back home, unable to express himself and tell why he did not protect her sister as she walked home alone, as a threat hung over her.

With attention to detail and clashing emotions, Aik Aur Pakeezah viewers became the investigators of Faraz’s shooting and were quick to pin their suspicion on Akbar. Pointing out the blame in Pakeezah’s eyes and overcompensation by Akbar, a netizen stated that it was Akbar who shot Faraz. They posted on X:
