Shahzeb Khanzada is the face of fearless journalism and one who has made prime-time  news actually worth watching with his show ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada ke sath’ where he presents his sharp insights on pressing social issues. He will now be known for much more than grilling politicians on public tv and uncovering hard truths as he makes his debut as a drama writer!

He promises to bring the same intensity, and layered narraratives and in-depth storytelling to his drama ‘Case No. 9’, as he did to his news reports on television that made him a household name.

Appearing on Geo TV’s show, ‘Kaisa Raha 2024, Kaisa hoga 2025?’, Shahzed admitted to being skeptical about the reviews his drama script would receive from the audience, especially because it involved sensitive issues of our society.

Fans are bracing themselves for this star-studded show to appear on their tv screens tonight, directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain, the hit-drama ‘Khaie’ director and produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. The cast boasts names like Saba Qamar, Faysal Qureshi, Amina Sheikh, Junaid Khan and Navin Waqar.

Saba Qamar confessed on Geo TV show ‘Kaisa Raha 2024, Kaisa Hoga 2025?’ on why she said yes to doing this drama:“I wouldn’t have said yes without reading the script… and when I read it, I felt like it was written by a very senior writer. It felt like Umera Ahmed had written it. I called my director and asked if it really had been written by Shahzeb and he said, ‘Yes, you’re going to love it’.

Coming from an actress who is extremelly selective about the work she does we can be sure about what the drama written by Shahzeb Khanzada, has in store for us.

We will be witnesses to this exciting turn in Pakistani entertainment scene this year. Will ‘Case No. 9’ mirror the intensity of Khanzada’s investigations, or will he surprise us with a softer, emotional touch?
