Haris Rauf seems to be out-auraing himself with every game. Last night during the Pak vs West Indies cricket match, after taking a wicket Rauf broke off into the ‘aura farming’ dance that had left the internet in stitches. Social media users were calling Rauf ‘pure class’.

‘Pure passion and pure class’ wrote another user.

If you’re living underneath a rock and have no idea what even ‘aura farming’ is, let us break it down for you. An indonesian kid Rayyan Arkhan Dikha went viral on the internet when he was spotted doing a dance on a boat, while participating in a local event. The child, Rayyan, was dancing as part of a local Indonesian tradition called ‘Togak Luan’ which involves a dancer standing on the edge of a canoe-like boat and does movements that would provide inspiration to the rowers.

Rayyan said that due to the mass popularity of the video, he was rewarded a 20 million rupiah scholarship from the government in order to complete his education, and was also named as the tourism ambassador for the Riau province.

The clip went extremely viral with celebrities and sports stars re-creating the video including Travis Kelce, F1 driver Alex Albon, and now it looks like Haris Rauf is bringing it into Pakistan!
