Mahira Khan took to her Instagram account to celebrate 14 years in the entertainment industry by looking back at some of the most iconic roles she had delivered in films and dramas.

The ‘Love Guru’ actress penned a moving note describing how she had worked endlessly hard to achieve this dream, and alongside posted a fan-made reel featuring all the iconic performances she had delivered.

“I was contemplating putting up this post.. I thought to myself – ‘ It’s not like it’s 15 years, should post next year’. And then a voice in my heart said – so? Today is all we have. This moment.

Today marks 14 years of my debut. Today, in this very moment I am sitting under the same skies where I prayed, dreamed, worked hard, manifested.. today I bow my head in gratitude.
Grateful for this journey..

Of lights, cameras… and everything in between.
Of falling, rising, and standing still when I needed to.
Of characters that became mirrors, masks and memories.
Of love from strangers who became my strength.
Of a girl with a dream… and a woman who still dreams.”

Mahira also mentioned that the timing of when she was posting this was quite significant, since her first drama Neeyat and her first film Bol were both also released on the same day 14 years ago.
