A horrifying case has emerged from Rawalpindi’s Khasala Kalan area after a matric-level female student reported she was raped multiple times by a man who falsely promised to marry her.
Express news reports that according to the FIR, the victim met the criminal Naqash who was the brother of her friend, and they had several meetings. During one of these encounters, Naqash had raped the female victim several times and falsely promised to marry her. He also made a video of the crime which he used to blackmail her.
Naqash’s cousin Basit, also began blackmailing the victim by pressuring her to be in a relationship with him, or otherwise he would leak the video of her rape. When the victim revealed all of this to her friend, she also began pressuring her to accept their demands.
After the victim refused to adhere to their demands both criminals escalated their threats.
The police has said one suspect has been booked into custody, and search us underway to arrest the second criminal.
