A 13 year old ‘maid’ was killed after allegedly being tortured by the landlord in Faisalabad. According to Geo, the helper’s body was sent back home to her parents in Roshanwala, and there were prominent injury marks all over her body which confirmed that she was tortured to death.
The CPO has said a post -mortem was being conducted over the victim’s body while the couple that allegedly tortured her to death has been arrested.
In April, a couple was arrested on charges of allegedly torturing their ten year old maid to death in Hanjarwal.
According to Dawn ,the mother Rabia received a call from a relative informing her that her daughter, Sonia, had injuries on her arm because she was being assaulted at the employer’s house where she worked.
The mother sent a relative to the house of the employer’s where he witnessed the man Butt and his wife Nosheen thrashing Sonia, but wasn’t allowed inside the house.
When the mother went to visit the house, she found Sonia dead and marks of torture all over her body.
The police reported the couple had been arrested and a murder case was filed against them.
