Actor Emmad Irfani was a guest on the talk show ‘Har Lamha Paurjosh’ where he addressed his ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ co-star Naeema Butt’s about fake friendships in the industry.
The actress who had played the beloved Rubaab on the show, was a guest on Vasay Chaudhary’s talk show ‘Gup Shup’ where she opened up about how actors would pretend to be good friends on social media but were actually quite different in real life. Butt did not name any of the actors in her statement, but said that some of the co-stars were actively trying to push her off the stage behind the scenes.
“I have seen that people are just being fake friends for Instagram or at least that is what my experience was regarding the industry’s inner working,” Naeema Butt had said.
Addressing Butt’s statement, Irfani said he considered ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ to be one of the highlights of his career, and had also developed strong bonds with the other actors in the process.
“I would call it one of the best moments in my career because I developed close friendships with all the other actors like Bushra Ansari, Javed Sheikh. Fahad Mustafa and I were playing brothers in the drama and we actually became like brothers off-screen as well.”
Irfani continued that if he was ever asked to re-make that drama once again, he would have done without a question.
